| END SEALS (ES) are required to protect the core of
single-ended runs of optical fibers from dirt,
moisture and UV penetration. They are
field-bondable using SC-2081 splicing glue (not
included). Clear end seals (-B) are used for
end light fiber applications (SEL). White
end seals (-WL) are used for side light
fiber applications (SWN, SFC, LSL).
Single-ended LEF runs are provided with
mirrored white end seals (-MIR)
factory-installed (separate order not required). We recommend white end-sealed fibers be run out of view in the design. |
