DESCRIPTION:

The Mentor™ system coordinates with ENCORE Series illuminators, providing
synchronization, speed control and the ability to stop on a single color. The illuminator is a single channel DMX unit with a standard 8-part color wheel included. This system maintains synchronization through the use of pre-programmed DMX control logic within your choice of solid-state control units. The attractive switch-plate control panel (MAE-D) is ideal for interior in-wall mounting and may be used in protected outdoor locations. The wet location-listed control box (MAE-W) is for exterior or interior use. Seven pre-set color-change speeds are provided for the 8part color wheel control: change colors at 6, 15, 30, 60 seconds or 5, 15 and 60 minute intervals. Or, stop on one of the 8 colors. The system is linked via DMX512 cable, equipped with 5-pin XLR plugs which feed into each illuminator's input and output receptacles. A DMX-TERM (terminator plug) must be installed into the output receptacle of the last illuminator in the system.

Installation:

Link from MENTOR-D or MENTOR-W output to first illuminator input with DMXC cable. Repeat cabling sequence to final illuminator in chain. Install DMX-TERM into last illuminator's output receptacle. Use conduit to protect cabling in exterior applications or where cable may be subject to damage/abuse.
