DESCRIPTION:

DMX preset length cables and custom length cables, DMX Terminators and DMX
Amplifier/Splitters are used for communication between illuminators under programmed or manual control by DMX or Mentor™ controllers. A DMX circuit can have a maximum of 600 feet of cable and 32 illuminators connected in series before a DMX amplifier/splitter is needed to boost the signal. At the end of every DMX series circuit (opposite from the controller end) a DMX terminating resistor is plugged into the DMX output of the last illuminator. The terminating resistor eliminates reflected signals in the control cables, which would otherwise interrupt communication causing loss of control signal.

DMX-CUST	DMX Cable, custom length - includes one 5 pin male XLR connector and one 5 pin female XLR connector.
DMX-CUST-M	DMX Cable, custom length - includes one 5 pin Female XLR connector and one 3 pin Molex connector.

DMX-TERM	DMX Terminator - Terminating resistor plug (5 pin male XLR connector) required in the output receptacle of the last illuminator in a circuit.
DMX-IS/AM	DMX Signal Isolator and Amplifier - Required in DMX communication circuits with an excess of 600 feet and/or where more than 32 illuminators are being controlled.
